Three continents, one extraordinary country
Morocco is a country of extraordinary contrasts. In the same week you can lose yourself in the labyrinthine souks of Fez, ride a camel into the Sahara at sunset, hike the Toubkal massif in the High Atlas, and end your days in a Marrakech riad with mint tea and candlelight. Few countries offer this much variety in so compact a space.
What makes Morocco particularly compelling for WildReality travelers is its versatility. It works as a standalone destination — one of the richest cultural journeys in Africa. And it works as a companion to a Tanzania safari, giving you the best of East Africa's wildlife and North Africa's ancient civilization in a single extended trip.

Morocco by region
Marrakech & the South
The City & the Desert
Marrakech is the heart of Morocco - chaotic, beautiful, endlessly fascinating. The south leads to Aït Benhaddou, the Draa Valley, and the vast Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga.
Fez & the North
Medieval Cities
Fez el-Bali is the world's largest car-free urban area. The north includes Chefchaouen's famous blue medina, the Roman ruins of Volubilis, and the Rif Mountains.
High Atlas
Mountains & Berber Villages
The High Atlas runs across central Morocco. Imlil is the base for Toubkal treks. Berber villages, walnut groves, and the quiet drama of mountain passes.
Atlantic Coast
Essaouira & the Coast
Essaouira is one of Morocco's most charming cities - windswept, photogenic, with a UNESCO medina and some of the best seafood in the country. Taghazout to the south is the surf hub.
Best Season
Spring & Autumn Are Ideal
March–May and September–November are the sweet spots - mild temperatures, low humidity, and perfect conditions for both city exploring and desert or mountain adventures.
Morocco Questions, Answered.
Everything you need to know about Morocco
Do I need a visa for Morocco?
Most Western passport holders can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days. Check specific requirements for your nationality before travelling.
What is the best time to visit Morocco?
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are ideal. Summers are very hot inland - Marrakech and the Sahara can reach 45°C. The coast and mountains are pleasant year-round.
Is Morocco safe for travellers?
Morocco is one of Africa's most visited and tourist-friendly countries. Major cities have tourist police and excellent infrastructure. Exercise normal city awareness in busy medinas.
How many days do I need in Morocco?
We recommend a minimum of 7 nights for a meaningful Morocco experience. This allows time in Marrakech, a Sahara night, and one other region. Ten to twelve days is ideal for covering cities, desert, and coast.
Can I combine Morocco with a Tanzania safari?
Yes - our Africa Twin Journey does exactly that. Fly between East Africa and Casablanca or Marrakech for a seamless two-country, two-continent trip. Wildlife in Tanzania, culture and landscape in Morocco.
